BHOPAL BRANCH OF CIRC OF ICAI
Bhopal branch of ICAI, part of the Central India Regional Council (CIRC) of ICAI, came into existence in the year 1982 with its first chairman being CA K.L. Agrawal and CA. V.S. Rajdev being the first Secretary. With collective efforts and guidance, the first ICAI Bhawan of Bhopal was inaugurated in Zone -II M.P Nagar , Bhopal on 28th of August 1993 by CA N.P. Sarda, Past President of ICAI, CA Ashok Jain, Chairman & CA A.V. Lowlekar, Secretary of Bhopal Branch in 1993.
It gave an esteemed platform to the members to further initialize the environment for an organizational purpose. Also, to develop a sense of belongingness in students Central India Chartered Accountants Students Association (CICASA) was found in the year 2008-09 with CA Salil Jain holding the first chairmanship.
It is the things we work hardest for reward us the most. Consistent endeavors of the members from year to year to uphold the dignity of the ICAI Bhopal Branch brought various awards home.
“CIRC SECOND BEST BRANCH AWARD”
In the year 2010, Bhopal branch of CIRC of ICAI won “CIRC SECOND BEST BRANCH AWARD” in the large category, thereafter recapturing the same title again in the year 2012 & 2016. Not only this but till date, Bhopal branch has been honored with “Highly Commended Performance Certificate.” Bhopal Branch of CIRC also backed “CIRC Star Branch Award” for consecutive 5 years for the period 2012-2016. It is also awarded with Certificates of Appreciation for numerous times on account of excellent performance.
Champions keep playing until they get it right. The Bhopal branch of CIRC didn’t stop here, another milestone was achieved with the launch of the first newsletter ‘GARUN’ in the year 2019 which received tremendous appreciation as well as acceptance & since then it has been a continuous source of knowledge, creativity and fun altogether with articles from the CA Students & Notes of guidance from ICAI Members. A ‘growth mindset’ thrives on challenge and sees failure not as evidence of un- intelligence but as a heartening springboard for growth and for stretching our existing abilities. The space was a big necessity for our Branch, overcoming all the obstacles and conquering all the challenges, it inaugurated its new ICAI BHAWAN on 21st February, 2019 by President – CA Prafulla Chhajed, Vice President – CA Atul Gupta, Chairman – CA Abhishek Gupta & its other prominent members.
Today, the branch has ITT labs equipped with all modern amenities. Branch is also pioneer in successfully organizing GMCS, ITT, OT, MOCK Test, Career Counseling Programs and various activities for the students on regular basis. Bhopal Branch conducts a host of activities throughout the year, including Workshops and Certificate Courses for its Members. The Branch also organizes Sports activities, Cultural events, social gatherings for its students, Members and their families. CICASA Bhopal executes a CA conference for its members & students every year. The renowned and expert faculties are called to take up the seminars, this help the students to keep their knowledge updated on the professional subjects. “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” Today, Bhopal Branch of CIRC ICAI and CICASA has so many innovative and knowledgeable programs to its credit. It is all because of selfless efforts of all the members till date. We are truly proud to be the part of Bhopal Branch of ICAI.
